Adrian Rodriguez Jr., born June 11, 1959, passed away on September 29th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, music, and service.
The family will received guests at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 3 pm to 5 pm. A celebration of his life will be held in the funeral home's Brentwood Chapel, on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.
A self-taught pianist, Adrian brought joy to many with his soulful melodies, his fingers weaving magic on the keys. His profound love for animals shone through in his gentle care for every pup he met, reflecting his kind and nurturing spirit.
For over 30 years, Adrian dedicated himself to the field of nursing as a Registered Nurse, touching countless lives with his empathy and commitment to healing. His career was a true calling, marked by a deep desire to comfort and care for others.
Adrian was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Adrian G. Rodriguez and Lucinda G. Rodriguez, and his eldest brother, Prudencio Rodriguez, who loved him most dearly. He is survived by his brother Lorenzo Rodriguez and also leaves behind five cherished sisters: Linda Sandoval, Maria Barrientez, Carol Sanchez, Rosa Arellano, and Ida Reyes, along with dozens of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends who will forever treasure his memory. Adrian's warmth, generosity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed, but his music, love for animals, and legacy of care will continue to inspire all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held at a Schooler Funeral home on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00am. Graveside service will follow at Llano Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local animal shelter in Adrian's honor, reflecting his lifelong devotion to the dogs he so dearly loved.
