Agnes Clara Campbell

Agnes Campbell, age 70, of Amarillo, entered her heavenly home on February 5, 2024.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of First Christian Church with Rev Brett Coe officiating.

Agnes was born in Tulia on January 1, 1954, to her parents, John and Marie Hanson.  She graduated from Nazareth High School in 1972.  She raised three children: Melissa, Jessica, and Heath.

Through some business dealings and a several long telephone conversations, True love was born, and she married Richard Campbell in Sedona, Arizona, on May 29, 2004.

Agnes worked as a mortgage underwriter for many years, retiring in 2019.  She had a passion for baking and loved to surprise her grandchildren with birthday cakes and goodies.  She also enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Jerome, James, Andrew Hanson, Martha Koelzer, and Betty Greene.

Agnes is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; her two daughters, Melissa Brandt of Amarillo and Jessica Brandt of Minneapolis; by her son Heath Brandt and his wife Amy of Panhandle; and six grandchildren, Brianna and Ty Brandt, Avery and Austin Talley and Karson and Taylor Brown.
