Alex Sales

Alex Kevin Sales, age 50, of Amarillo, passed away on April 23, 2026.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM at The Door, 200 N. McMasters.

Alex was born on August 24, 1975, in Pampa to his parents, Brian Kevin Sales and Maria Guadalupe Velasquez. He graduated from high school in Turpin.

A hardworking man, Alex spent his life working in maintenance, a profession he truly enjoyed and one in which he was highly skilled. He took pride in doing things the right way and was known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature.

Outside of work, Alex found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved baseball and fishing, and he especially enjoyed cooking for those he loved. Some of his favorite dishes to prepare were soup, pork loin, and fresh fish.

Among his most treasured memories were the holidays spent in Pampa with his grandparents, times filled with family, warmth, and lasting happiness.

Alex will be remembered for his hard working spirit, his love of family, and the many good meals, memories, and moments he shared with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jesus and Lupe Velasquez, Clyde and Teresa Sales, Uncle Jessie Velasquez, Aunt Rosie DeWitt and Aunt Lolly Carver.

Alex is survived by his mother, Maria “Lupe” Ramos and husband Manuel; his father Brian Kevin Sales and wife Marsha; his brother Andrew Sales; his nieces and nephews, Sadee, Savannah, Andrew Jr, Aiden, Avanly and Moises; and special friend, Holly.
