Anita Hernandez, 70, of Amarillo, died Monday, February 1, 2016.
Ms. Hernandez was born July 26, 1945 in La Rosita Ranch, Texas to Ignacio and Olivio Hernandez. Ms. Hernandez was retired from San Diego Independent School District after 20 years of service as a cafeteria worker. She was member of St. Paul Catholic Church in San Diego, Texas, prior to moving to Amarillo. She will be remembered as a loving sister and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Aurora Alvarado; and three brothers, Jose Luis, Jesus and Mario Hernandez.
Ms. Hernandez is survived by one sister, Gloria Moreno of Amarillo; four brothers, Ignicio Z., Juan Manuel and Carlos Hernandez, all of Amarillo, and Juan Hernandez of Alice, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
