Antonina Maria Luisa Noviello - Dunlap

October 2, 1956 — December 9, 2022

Amarillo

Antonina Maria Luisa Noviello-Dunlap (“Nina”), 66, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away December 9, 2022, in her home with her husband by her side.

She was born to Mario Noviello and the late Ala Mae (Toler) Noviello, October 2, 1956, in Amarillo, TX. Nina attended Tascosa High School in Amarillo, but moved to Tucson, AZ and graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1974. Nina met her first husband, Doug Hyland, in Tucson, AZ and they had a son Jason Hyland in 1974. In 1981, Nina joined the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers local # 531 as a Welder/Mechanic. She became the first woman in local #531. It was here that she met her current husband Randy Dunlap; they married in March 2009.

Nina had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. She loved her family with all her heart and would do anything for her son, daughter-in-law and three granddaughters. She also loved animals and it’s hard to think of a time she didn’t have a dog by her side. Her beloved Schnauzer, Teddy, passed only moments after she did.

Nina was preceded in death by her mother Ala Mae (Toler) Noviello, her ex-husband Doug Hyland, and her brother Butch Amos. Nina is survived by her husband, Randy Dunlap, her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Amber Hyland, and three granddaughters: Mackenzie Hall, Peyton Hyland, and Brooklyn Hyland, her stepson and step daughter-in-law Timmy and Sandy Bridgeman.

She is also survived by her father Mario Noviello, and her brothers and sisters: Billie (Muggins) Harp, Beverly Negri, Mike Amos, Monica Noviello, her cousin Regina Faulkner, and close friends Dawn Romines and Becky Black.
