April Annette Reynolds, age 55, of Amarillo, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Amarillo.

A memorial service to honor her life will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Hillside Christian Church Canyon Campus.

April was born on April 19, 1971, in Amarillo to her parents, Floyd Vernon Smith and Barbara Jean Colangelo Smith. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1991 and later attended college. On 2013, she married the love of her life, Raymond Reynolds.April was a deeply loving and compassionate woman whose family was the center of her world. She was the pinnacle of her family — Raymond’s steadfast rock and his angel. A devoted wife and mother, April gave her love freely and wholeheartedly to those around her. 

Her warmth, kindness, and caring spirit made others feel safe, welcomed, and deeply loved.She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially relaxing with her favorite shows on the Food Network. She particularly loved watching Ree Drummond on The Pioneer Woman, finding joy in cooking programs, family-centered stories, and the comfort they brought her.April will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she poured into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her step mother, Linda Gail Smith.

April is survived by her husband Raymond, her daughter Alexis Annette; her sister, Cassie Smith, her brother, Raymond Smith and wife Tabatha; her brother-in-law Gary Reynolds and wife Mandy; and by her nieces and nephews, Sierra, Mariah and RIver Smith, and Jordan and Jaci Schroeder.
