Arturo M. Mendoza

A Rosary will be held Monday, May 21, at 6:00 P.M. at the Chapel of Angels, Angel Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 22, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father José Gomez as Celebrant. Burial is at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, TX.

Arturo was a devoted husband for 48 years.  He was a beloved, father, and grandfather and friend.  He will be remembered as a great provider by his family.  He loved animals, especially his beloved Chihuahua, “Baby”.

Arturo was preceded in death by his mother, Aurora Mendoza and one brother, Enrique Mendoza and a great granddaughter, Angel Mary Rodriguez.

Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife Rose Ann; one daughter, Mary Garcia and husband Gerardo; two sons, Edward Rodriguez and wife Dora, all of Amarillo and Arturo Mendoza Jr. and wife, Linda of Dumas; 8 grandchildren, Anthony Garcia and wife Ivonne, Erica Fuentes and husband Rolando, Dorothy West and husband David, Edward Rodriguez, Jr., Albert Rodriguez and wife Teresa and Estella Rodriguez, Mariah Mendoza and Arthur Sebastian Mendoza, III; 16 great-grandchildren, Christopher and Izabella Fuentes, Esperanza Garcia, Angelica, Marissa, Christopher and Damien West,  Danica, Alexandri a, Selina, Maliyah, Hailey, Jordan, Elyssia, Alizaia and Josiah Rodriguez and one sister, Elena.
