Audelio Salinas

Audelio Lopez Salinas, age 74 of Amarillo died March 13, 2026, in Amarillo.

A viewing will be on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur. The funeral will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home.

Audelio was born September 1, 1951, in Stamford, Texas to his parents, Santos and Jacinto Salinas.

For most of his life, Audelio worked in the construction industry, spending many years with Arnold Lovett Asphalt Repair. He was a hardworking man who took pride in what he did and in providing for his family.

Audelio had a special gift for working with his hands. He could grow just about anything and seemed to have the ability to fix nearly anything that needed repair.

He was a fun-loving man who enjoyed dancing and spending time relaxing with those he loved most. Above all, Audelio cherished time with his family, creating memories that will remain in their hearts for years to come.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Jose Salinas, a sister Rosa Salinas, a son Benny Rubio and a son J. Matthew Salinas.

Audelio is survived by his daughters, Christina Salinas and Valerie Salinas; his sons, Jerry Rubio, Juan Salinas, Joe Rubio, Santos Salinas and Ralph Salinas; his sisters, Esperanza Hernadez and Lily Salinas, his brother Roy Salinas; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
