Audrey Yeaman Jones

Audrey Yeaman Jones, 90, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on January 23, 2026.

The family will receive guests during public viewing on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - Tascosa Ward, 2101 North Coulter St in Amarillo. The funeral service will take place following visitation at 1:00 pm. Burial will be private. 

Audrey Jones was born on May 18, 1935, in Santa Monica, California. She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of faith, devotion, and family.

Audrey was a deeply caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her life was centered on her family, and her love extended across generations. She was a steady, nurturing presence whose kindness and compassion shaped the lives of all who knew her.

She shared a loving marriage of over 70 years with her beloved husband, Garold Jones, a testament to their commitment, partnership, and enduring love. Together, they built a family rooted in care and togetherness. She is survived by her husband and children David, Wayne, Danny, Linda, Lee, and Jason, as well as 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Audrey was a dedicated employee at Pantex, where she worked for 11 years. She took pride in her work and was known for her reliability, integrity, and strong work ethic.

Audrey was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and her faith guided her life and the way she served and loved others.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
