Survivors include his daughter, Krystal Herrera, of Amarillo; his father, Juan Herrera of Durango, Mexico; one sister, Socoro Herrera and husband, Bonifacio Recendiz of Durango Mexico; and two brothers, Santos Herrera and wife Irma of Amarillo and Felipe Herrera and wife Rayo Beltran of Durango, Mexico.
