A rosary service will be said at 6 PM tonight at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Celebrant will be Rev. Jose Gomez. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur.
Bernie was born in Portales, New Mexico. He was a loving man and was loved by many.
He is survived by his daughters; Julie Ann Lucero of Las Vegas, NV and Kezmariah Julianna High of Amarillo; by his sons, Bernie Lucero Jr of Amarillo and Michael and Cyrus Martinez both of Hereford; three sisters, Lori Chavira of Amarillo, Margie Lucero of Wichita, KS and Lisa Romero of Clovis, NM; one brother, Marty Lucero of Albuquerque, NM; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his wife Delia Lucero of Amarillo.
