With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Birgit Quiroz, who was born on November 17, 1959, in Berlin, Germany, and peacefully went to Paradise on May 15, 2026.

Birgit was the heart of her family — a woman whose love was unconditional, whose strength carried so many through difficult times, and whose kindness touched every life she encountered. She had a beautiful spirit that made people feel welcomed, loved, and never forgotten. Her laughter, wisdom, and caring soul will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know her.

She leaves behind her beloved children: Diana (Rick), Edward Jr. (Letty), JR-Juan, Ollie (Redd), Adrian (Eva), and Jeremiah, who were the greatest joys of her life. She was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved beyond words.

Birgit is survived by her brother, Alex Baretic, and two nieces in Germany. She also leaves behind her cherished godchildren, Shanell and Barontell, who held a very special place in her heart.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing Birgit has been reunited with the loved ones she missed so dearly throughout her life, especially her beloved mother, Brigette, and her grandmother, Freida.

Birgit’s love was endless, her presence unforgettable, and her memory everlasting. The pain of losing her will never fade, because someone so deeply loved can never truly be gone. She will live on in every memory shared, every lesson taught, every laugh remembered, and every heart she touched.

She will FOREVER be missed, deeply loved, and never forgotten by all who knew her.
