Carlos Lopez, 52, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Friday, January 29, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2500 S. Belton St., with Rev. Haider Quintero, as celebrant. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur Amarillo, Texas 79103.
Mr. Lopez was born December 3, 1963 in Monterrey, Mexico to Gregorio Lopez and Maria de Jesus Castaneda. He married Raquel Lopez on October 31, 1984 in Juarez, Mexico. Mr. Lopez will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife, Raquel; one daughter, Janeth Lopez and husband Eduardo Robles of Amarillo; four sons, Gustavo and wife Yesenia, Juan Carlos and wife Maribel, Daniel and wife Veronica, and Brayan, all of Amarillo; seven sisters; four brothers; and six grandchildren.
