Carol Ashley-Chambers

Carol Darlene Ashley-Chambers, 75, of Amarillo, passed peacefully on December 27, 2025.

Carol will be inurned Wednesday, January 7, 2025, at Llano Cemetery at 2:00 PM following a graveside service.

Carol Ashley-Chambers was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 8, 1950, to Arthur Lee and Betty Jo (Camp) Ashley. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in Amarillo. Carol was devoted in her faith and attended church throughout her life until her health prevented her attendance. Carol never deviated from her faith even as her health deteriorated. She retired from AIG after 15 plus years of loyal service in the Data Entry field.

After Carol became homebound in her later years, she began to show her artistic flare. She found joy in different crafting projects, painting, and coloring. Carol found joy in bringing life to a canvas, coloring page, or fabric.

Carol is preceded in death by her son Brian Lance Chambers. Those left to cherish her memories are her, daughter, Stacey Chambers, son, Matthew Chambers, sister, Darla Brown and Don, brother, Mark Ashley and Jeanne; as well as many extended family and cherished friends.
