Cathy Reardon

Cathy was born in Dallas, Texas on March 16, 1953, to Homer B. and Helen L. (Cook) Deweese. She attended school at David W. Carter High School and obtained her cosmetology license shortly after graduation. After becoming a cosmetologist, she set off on the path of a very talented hairstylist; a career she was amazing at, and loved, for 47 years.

After relocating to Amarillo, Cathy also attended nursing school at Amarillo College, but found that her true love would always be cosmetology. On July 11, 2007, she married Howard Reardon in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. They enjoyed taking annual Summer trips back to Pagosa Springs to celebrate their anniversary. Cathy also had a love for traveling to and seeing the mountains of Colorado. Together they were members of Messiah's House Church of Amarillo and they enjoyed the fellowship the church brought them.

Cathy had many loves throughout her life. She loved to fish anytime she could, and she was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan, no matter if they won or lost. When she married Howard, she became a Denver Broncos fan as well. In her spare time, she loved to garden, and was an avid shopper, always on the hunt for the perfect accessory to complete her many outfits. However, none of these things held a flame to her greatest love of spending time with her two daughters and her grandkids. They were her everything.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, and her treasured chihuahua Tootsie. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband Howard, daughters Holly Meitus and husband Douglas, Stefany Hunter and husband Danny and their children Trace, Saigunn, Cali, and Levity. Destri Reardon and her children Brian, Rebecca and JP, Jennifer Selman and husband Brian and their children James and Jude; Her brother David Deweese and wife Vicki, her beloved dogs Fancy and Montana; as well as many other extended family members and close friends.
