Charles was born February 2, 1941 in Turkey, Texas to Walter and Edna Phillips. He was a hardworking man who loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Willa; his daughter, DeWilla Lange; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren, all of Amarillo.
