Cheryl was born July 21, 1960 in Amarillo to Melvin and JoAnn Rodgers. She was a loving mother who loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Bryan Hendrix.
She is survived by her son, Jayson, and his wife, Amber; three brothers, Dennis Rodgers, and his wife DeeDee, Jim Rodgers, and Justin Rodgers; three grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaylin and Zachery Hendrix; and one great grandchild, Zayden Hendrix.
The family suggest memorials be made to Correctional Police Officers Foundation, P. O. Box 348390, Sacremento, CA, 95834-8390.
