Dan Howard Best, 70, of Amarillo died February 25, 2021.

Dan was born July 6, 1950 in Amarillo to Howard and Beatrice Weatherred Best. He graduated from Mortuary School of Dallas and also passed the Law Enforcement Academy. When Dan retired he had been working in food service at the Clements Unit for seven years.
He is preceded in death by sister, Katheryn Patricia Sanders; and parents, Howard J. Best and Beatrice W. Best.
Dan is survived by many special cousins who loved him very much!
