David Preston Cagle, 59, of Amarillo died Saturday, August 3, 2013.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Family Life Fellowship Church with the Rev. Dale Travis officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
David was born November 2, 1953 in Amarillo to Willard Preston and Mary Nell Cagle. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1972 followed by a tour in the Marine Corps. He received a degree in Architectural Drafting and Design from Texas State Technical Institute.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Cagle; his parents; and his loving wife of 21 years, Elizabeth “Wanda”.
Survivors include his two daughters, Chasity Frazier and husband Phil of El Paso, and Jamie Cagle of Amarillo; a son, Cody Cagle and wife Donna of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Jacklyn Fite, Raina Green, Caitlyn Cagle, Kenzie Cagle, and Reese Green; one sister, Nita Nell Cagle of Amarillo; one nephew, Will Cagle; two great-grandsons; and Karen Northern Dellis and many other good friends.
