David was born on June 13, 1957 in Amarillo, Texas to Marion Ray Mabra and Patsy Lynn Merrell. He was self-employed. He loved History and loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Melvin and Red Merrell, and Jack and Linnie Mabra.
He is survived by one brother, Ray Lynn Mabra and wife, Kristy of Branson, MO; one sister, Rosann Scivally of Pampa, TX; six nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Sherry Powell.
