Dennis Allen Larson, 45, passed away on August 21, 2019.

Dennis was born on November 8, 1973, in Amarillo, Tx. He attended school in Amarillo and Canyon. Dennis was a kind soul and would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He was brave and always had something funny to say. Dennis loved and was very good at racing RC cars and won many races. Dennis also enjoyed attending the Route 66 Motor Speedway where he helped build many of the racecars. He was an experienced welder and had a phenomenal bead when he welded. He became very good at crafting slot cars. Dennis enjoyed taking his sand-buggie to the the Canadian River and was a self-proclaimed “river rat”.
Dennis was preceeded in death by his grandparents, Mildred King Larson and Russell Glenn Larson, and his Uncle Mark Elwood Larson.
Dennis is survived by the love of his life Lety Marquez and her children Rose, Sonia, and Sergio; by his father Glenn Larson and wife Linda, as well as his siblings, sisters Mychele Larson, Brandi Clark and husband Bill Clark, and his twin brother Donnie Larson and wife Jessica Larson a step brother, Brad Haley and step sister, Jamie Tomberlin. He is also survived by his nephews Garrett and Casun, his nieces Britnee, Kaileh, Madisun, Aubrey, Gracie and Gaige; and 2 great nieces, Kinsley and Reagan. They all loved and adored their “Uncle D”.
In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation be made to The Amarillo Area Motorsports Hall of Fame or your favorite charity in honor of Dennis.
