Diana Margarita “Gigi” Luna, 60, died June 27, 2026, in Amarillo.

Viewing will be on Tuesday, July 14th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 South Arthur. A funeral will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14th following the visitation.

She was born April 28, 1966, in Mexico to Jose Luna and Blasa Casillas. Diana, lovingly known as Gigi, was bubbly, outgoing, and never afraid to speak her mind. She loved fiercely and had a beautiful way of encouraging those around her.

Gigi was a devoted prayer warrior who faithfully prayed for her family and friends. Her heart was most full when she was hosting, cooking, and gathering the people she loved around the table. She was especially known for her famous tamales.

She also loved to shop and thrift, always finding the hidden treasures others might overlook. Gigi’s joyful spirit, strong faith, and generous love will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Angel Barrientez.

Gigi is survived by her three children, Stephanie Galan and husband Joe Barrientez, Juliana Galan, and George Galan all of Amarillo; her seven siblings, Sandra Luna, Patricia Luna, Argelia Luna, Jose M. Luna, Jorge Luna, Claudia Luna, and Jose “Pepe” Luna; and her grandchildren, D’Lylah Lujan, M’Kaylah Luhan, Noah Barrientez, Harmony Barrientez, Everly Barrientez, Gohan Barrientez, and Elliana Galan.
