Don Wilson McAnear, 73 of Amarillo passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017.
No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St, Amarillo, Texas 79103.
Don was born February 13, 1944 in Hall County to Theodore and Dorisene McAnear. He graduated from Clarendon High School and was a welder. Don treasured his horses. He was a wonderful friend to all and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Mark McAnear.
Don is survived by his daughter, Kim Choate; two sisters, Susan Henson and husband Wes and Deanna McCleskey; a dear friend, Larry Barton; grandchildren, Amber Choate and Cassie Traxler; daughter-in-Law, Melba McAnear; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
