Amarillo

Donald Glenn Bramblet | |,  49, grabbed his angels Kenee' and Keely's hands while Jesus wrapped his arms around him as he took his last breath to join them in Heaven Paradise on August 27, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Services were held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Chaple with pastor Trevor Brown.

Donald took his first breath in the arms of Don and Vickie Bramblet on July 25, 1974, in Amarillo, Texas, where he joined his sister Cindy. Donald attended Amarillo schools until his senior year, as his family moved to Grand Prairie, Texas.

Donald met Melanie and her daughter Kenee' in 1995 when they became a family. Donald and Melanie had their second daughter, Keely, in June 1996. Donald always thought of Kortney Foster as his own. Donald and Melanie joined hands in marriage on June 22, 1997

Donald worked for Craig Methodist Retirement Center. After the passing of his daughter Keely in February of 1998, Their Son Dylan was born in July of 1999.

He started working for United Plumbing as a Plumber's helper and worked up to a Journeyman Plumber, where he ran his own truck, number#13. Donald would say,

"That is my lucky number." after working for the company for almost eight years, Donald joined the Union of Plumbers and Pipe Fiters of Amarillo, Texas. He worked for the Union until he received his Master of Plumbing in 2017. Donald opened his small business, Panhandle Plumbing LLC, for a short time until his sickness took over. In 2020, the doors closed on the business.

Donald's first love was Jesus Christ, his Savior, followed by his family and friends.

Donald would have given his shoes off his feet if someone else needed them. That is who he was; he Never met a stranger, as a stranger would have Forever remembered Donald. He would have helped a Soul in need and never expected a payment of any deed.

Donald loved his family, as he was a family man. He loved to travel,  go camping, fish, play golf, dis-golf, watch old western movies, listen to old music, play card games, and enjoy Life itself. His sickness took that joy away as he tried to keep a smile on his face while experiencing so much pain. However, the pain took the best of him. He fought so hard until there was no more fighting to fight.

Donald was greeted in Heaven by his daughters Keely Bramblet and Keneé Griffing, son-in-law Dalton Knott,  his mother Vickie Bramblet, sister Cindy Langham, mother-in-law Karan Jones, grandparents Don and Emma Bramblet, Charles and Viola White, along with many other loved ones.

He was survived by his wife, Melanie Bramblet, son Dylan, daughter-in-law Tiffany, daughter Karlee, Malloreigh, Kortney Foster, and son-in-law Justin. His father, Don Bramblet, his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. aunts, and uncles. Grandchildren Julian, Jake, Bayley, Brooklynn, Malissa ( Mo), Michael.
