Emma M. Romero, 80, died peacefully on October 20, 2015. Emma was born December 24, 1934 in Amarillo, TX.
Rosary will be said 6:00 PM at Angel Funeral Home Friday October, 23 2015. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 2:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe. Burial will be at Llano cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St.
Emma was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a spiritual member of the Guadalupana’s and a Eucharist minister for many years. She was also a graduate of Saint Mary’s Academy and a Madrina to the Capuchinas in Amarillo.
She was preceded by her Husband Bennie Romero and her sisters and brothers: Mary Fox, Juana Sauceda, Lucy Vergara, Alice Romero, Pedro Martinez, Florencio Martinez and Tommy Maestas. Survivors include her 4 children: Gloria Ramirez, Mary Lou Decauwer, Mary Esther Olague, Martin Romero and her brother Tony Fox. Also survived by Emma are her 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A special thanks to her nephew Charlie “Tolo” Romero and her guardian angel, Joe Batson
