Gary Carlile, 41, of Amarillo, died Monday, May 23, 2016.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Angel Funeral Home, Chapel of Angels, with Rev. Ken Haney officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo.
Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home; 2209 S. Arthur St. Amarillo, TX.
Gary was born September 7, 1974 in Amarillo to G. E. and Geneva Carlile. He graduated from Tascosa High School and from Texas Tech University with a BBA in management. Gary followed his father’s footsteps in music and was a talented song writer. He was also a complete Star Wars fanatic.
He is preceded in death by his father; his brother, Dale Allen Carlile; his sister, Sherry Davis; his adopted son, Timothy Biggs; and a nephew Rodney True.
Survivors include his mother; three sisters, Shirley Carlile of Dallas, Evelyn Coffey of Amarillo, and Deborah Carlile of Hutto; one brother, David Carlile and wife Karen of Dallas; nieces, Desri, DeeDee, Ashley, Kaitlin, Abbey, Heather, Nicole, and Destiney; and a nephew Nicholas.
