Gillermo “Willie” Ramos Lopez, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 18, 2013 at 10:32 p.m. Memorial services will be held at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur at 6:00 p.m. on October 23, 2013.
Willie was born July 5, 1956, in Dimmitt, Texas to George and Ramona Lopez. In 1977 he met his life companion Bonnie Susan Ball. They lived in Amarillo for 36 years where they had two children, Willie Jr. and Mona.
Willie was a mentor to his siblings and the backbone of his family. He loved fishing, traveling, family cookouts and the great outdoors. His greatest moments were spent with his granddaughters.
Survivors include his parents George and Ramona Lopez; Companion Bonnie Susan Ball; his son Gillermo Ball Lopez and his wife Nina; his daughter Ramona Amy Bean and her husband Aaron; his siblings, George, Mary, Jesse, Jacinto, Lupe and Ray; his grandchildren, Bonnie Jewel, Anessa Jolie and Daisy Lynn and many nephews and nieces.
