Glaston Lee Johnson Sr

Glaston Lee Johnson Sr, 61, of Amarillo passed on May 30, 2023.

The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.

Glaston was born December 9, 1961 in Lockney, Texas to Jessie R. Johnson and Dorothy (Cook) Johnson. He was an avid fisherman, and loved showing his grandkids magic tricks. He was a mechanic by trade and worked for different moving companies throughout his life. .

Glaston is preceded in death by his parents, sister Vernona Johnson, brothers Van Johnson and Bobby Johnson, and the mother of his children, Sonia Redic. Those left to cherish his memories are his spouse Mary Mitchell, daughters Narvella Mitchell, Shawnda Mitchell, and Sherrika Redic, sons Glaston Lee Johnson Jr, Chris Redic, and Don Mitchell, sisters Alice Agu and Tony, Carol Walker and Alex, Janis Wilson and Henry, Billie Coonfield and Kevin, and Terena Johnson, brothers Don Johnson and Shay, Willie Johnson, and Darren Johnson; 10 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
