It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Shadix, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on July 8, 2025, at the age of 79. Born in Amarillo, Texas, to Lendal and Delpha Shadix, Glenn's indelible mark on his family and community will be cherished forever.

Services for Glenn will be private.

A proud Army veteran, Glenn served his country with honor and dedication. He contributed his skills to the workforce at Levi Strauss and as a technician for Zenith Corporation throughout his career. In addition to being a reliable provider, Glenn was a compassionate caregiver to several relatives, exemplifying the selfless love he held for his family. He had a passion for recording music, which provided him great joy and a creative outlet that he shared with those around him.

Glenn is survived by his devoted grandson, Noah Shadix, who will carry forward his legacy with love and remembrance. He is also survived by his sister, Lynn Mathers of North Carolina; his brother, Danny Shadix; step-sister Edwyna Honderich and her husband John of Amarillo, Texas; and step-brother Terry Power and his wife Joan of DeSoto, Texas. His family also includes cherished nephews John Blaylock of Harlington, Texas, and Jeffrey Urbanzyck, as well as nieces Lisa and Janna. Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris Shadix; his son, David Shadix; his parents, Lendal and Delpha Shadix; his stepmother, Faye Shadix; and his nephew, Jeffrey Urbanzyck. 

Glenn Shadix will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
