Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Trinity Fellowship Church, North Ministry Center with Pastor Alejandro Rodarte officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Gregorio was born on May 25, 1929 to Flavio and Paola Aguirre in Falls City, Texas. He married Lillie Martinez on October 9, 1949. He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. Gregorio retired from ASARCO after 15 years of service. He proudly served in the National Guard for 12 years. Gregorio enjoyed giving to others and he volunteered for Bethesda Outreach (food) ministry for many years. He enjoyed going to Wesley Community Center where he could visit with his friends, play dominos and play on the computer. Gregorio had a great sense of humor and loved fishing and listening to his music. His family describes him as a dedicated hard worker who never called in sick, a good provider a good husband, and a good father.
He was survived by his bride of 63 years, Lillie; four daughters, Elsa Hernandez and husband Hector of Irving, Tx, Laura Frias and husband Hugo of Arlington, Lisa Sparks and husband Jimmy of Amarillo, and Rachel Rogers and husband Lance of Canyon; three sons, Gregory Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel of Amarillo and Rudy and wife Melanie of Baltimore MD; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
