Gregory Jordan Stovall, “G Baby,” at the young age of 30, bounded into Heaven, rather unexpectedly and much too soon, on December 18, 2023, in Amarillo.
The family will host a memorial service on December 30. 2023 at 2:00 PM at Journey Church, 9711 FM 2186 Amarillo.
Greg entered this world on January 3, 1993, here in Amarillo, and at that time, there was no way that his momma, April Stovall, would know the impact he would make on the lives around him.
He had a few loves in his life; make no mistake, school was not one of them! Greg loved his family, especially his children. His daughter, Ja’Kyah, had him wrapped around her finger! He loved spending time at the lake with Roy, cooking, and he loved video games. He also loved the Steelers, something we will forgive him for.
Do you know when someone has a presence, and they walk into a room, and everyone notices? Well, that was Greg! He was huge in both stature and personality. Greg was the life of the party with his Infectious laughter and an enormous smile that could light up a room. He was proud of his pearly whites, and he loved to smile. He loved to entertain and make others smile. Greg made the world a much brighter place.
He was preceded in death by his mother, April Stovall and his grandparents, Carole Stovall and David Stewart.
Greg is survived by his children, Ja’Kyah and Gregory Stovall; by his sister, Destini Proby and her husband, Jordan Miller of Amarillo; his brothers, both by blood and in heart, Anthony Stovall and Callie of Pampa, Erick Stovall And Kaitlyn of Amarillo, Terrance Jones and Brittany of Amarillo, Roy Renner of Amarillo, and Jonathan Crain of Ft. Worth; his aunts and uncles, Mitch and Michelle Stovall, Jaime and Crystie Stovall, Johnathan and Randi Conner; D.J. and Misty Graham; and by many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
