Herschell Allen Belcher Jr., 68, of Quanah, Texas passed away on August 21, 2022.

Hershchell Allen “Corky” Belcher Jr was born and raised in Quanah, Texas to Herbert Sr and Christine (Sharp) Belcher. Corky was a graduate of Quanah High School and attended Old Northside Baptist Church. He would leave many times through the years to work, but always returned home. His nickname was Corky, and most people knew him by that name.

Corky was ornery, cantankerous, and conspiracy minded and never apologized for his beliefs. He was a true product of his raising.

Although never blessed with kids, he loved his nieces, nephews, and their babies and grandchildren. God surely broke the mold after Corky was born. What a character, and he will be dearly missed.

Corky is preceded in death by his parents Herschell Sr and Christine Belcher, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his sister Judy Price of Amarillo.
