Jackie Don “Jack” Faught, age 65, of Amarillo, decided to spend Christmas with Jesus this year. Jack passed away on December 1, 2025, in Turkey, Texas. The family will celebrate his life privately.
Jack was born on August 9, 1960, in Amarillo to Donald Ray and Wanda Jo (Gardner) Faught. He graduated from Palo Duro High School and went on to build a long, respected career in auto body repair, most notably with Jimmy Fincher.
Jack was a kindhearted man who deeply loved his family. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed country music, dancing, and spending time outdoors—especially at the lake skiing. Jack had a contagious laugh and a gift for fixing just about anything. He could be a bit ornery at times, but always protective of the people he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son, Cuyler Faught.
Jack is survived by his son Jeff Faught and his wife Taylor of Amarillo; by his sister Wanda Faught of Turkey; by a stepdaughter, Tabby Ott and her husband John of Mansford, OK; and by his grandchildren, Payton Faught and Jaxon, Kristen and Kayleigh Ott.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
