Mr. James Ross Thompson, 72, of Amarillo passed away January 25th, at his home. Services will be held Friday, January 29, 2010, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 6900 Hillside, at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Jeffery Geske will be officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur, Amarillo, TX.Mr. Thompson was a teamster at Yellow Freight, where he retired in 1997. He met Joyce Schiele in Big Spring, TX and he married her and her eight children. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; their four daughters, Lou Anne Burton, Karlene Schiele, Beth Schiele-Sims, Celeste Erwin; their four sons, Micheal Schiele, Randal Schiele, Steven Schiele, Brian Schiele; and their 8 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren
