Jane Eileen Dickey Hall completed the circle of life on January 13, 2016 in Amarillo, Texas.
Jane was born March 16, 1945 in Idabel, Oklahoma as the fifth daughter to Perry Dickey and Letha McBee Dickey.  She married James H. Hall III of Texline on December 21, 1985 in Amarillo.
She grew up in the First Baptist Church in Idabel, where she attended Sunday school regularly.
In high school, she started singing at the First Methodist Church, mainly because her choir director was her school choir director and friend.  She graduated from Idabel Gray High School in 1963.  She continued her education at Southeastern State College in Durant, Oklahoma.  She graduated in 1967 with a Bachelors of Art in Music Education.  She also earned a Master of Education in 1984 Waylon Baptist Texas University.
She continued singing during college years, sometimes she sang solo.  This is when she joined the First Methodist Church in Durant.
She was in a college chorus in which she was a member which toured the state of Oklahoma and parts of Arkansas.  They also sang at the 1965 World Fair in New York City and in Mexico City.  She and her baritone partner were featured and awarded Goodwell Embassassors to Mexico during their visit to Mexico City.
During her 27 year teaching career, she taught Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, Geography, P.E. or wherever she was needed in Oklahoma and Dalhart, Texas, to be close to family and James’ work.
She was an avid reader and a friend of Ann Parker Library.  She loved mysteries, working crossword puzzles, fishing, singing, playing at the piano, cruel needle work and her dogs.  She always believed if she was reincarnated she would come back as one of her dogs.  She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a past member of Dames of the Magna Carta.  She enjoyed traveling, but not achieving all fifty states, she did make it to Alaska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, Lucille Hall, two sisters, June Montgomery and Lynda Madrigil, her brother, Perry O. Dickey Jr., four brother-in-laws, Archie Montgomery, Billy Joe Hite Sr., Clifford A. Mason and Glenn H. Madrigil; one sister-in-law, Mary Dickey.

Hall III, her sisters, Virginia Mason, and Pauline Hite; her nieces, Lisa Big and Kim Hite; five nephews, Perry Dickey III, Billy Joe Hite Jr., Stephen Hite and wife Terri, Kevin Hite, Matthew Dickey and wife Geania; two great nieces, Lori Trook and Angela Dickey, five great nephews, Michael Lindley Jr., Brian Dickey, Joseph Hite, Kelly Dickey and Billy Joe Hite III; and a sister in law Helen Lester and husband Whaylan.
