Jimmy Ray Price

Jimmy Ray Price, 48, of Amarillo, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his beloved family.

Per Jimmy's wishes we will not have a "normal" funeral. We are having a FUNeral, and his life will be celebrated rather than mourned. Please join us on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 2 pm to 4 pm, at Angel Funeral Home; 2209 S. Arthur in Amarillo. Bring your best Jimmy stories as there will be an open mic for us to share all of our favorite memories. Refreshments will be provided. Military honors will take place at the end of the celebration.

Jimmy Ray Price was born and raised here in Amarillo Texas to his parents Jimmy and Jessica Price with surviving siblings Justin Price, Catharine Price, and Darin Price. Jimmy attended Tascosa High School, after graduating he enlisted in the United States Army from years 1994 to 1998. He was honorably discharged and continued his work for others in the electrical business. After attending the IEC trade school program he progressed to start his own company, JP Electric. He has worked on and owned his business since 2004. As dedicated as he was to his company he was a dedicated husband and father to his wife Amanda Price and his three beautiful children Paige Price, Jimmy Price, and Kyndel Price. Jimmy’s hobbies consisted of; hunting, deep sea fishing, electrical work, being mischievous, and making up nicknames for everyday things (like calling goosebumps, duckbutt).
