Joe Alexander Rodriguez

Joe Alexander Rodriguez, age 87 of Amarillo, Texas passed away April 1, 2023.

Services for Joe will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5141 Canyon Drive. With Edwin Seymour officiating.

Joe was born in Eagle Pass, Texas to Ruperto and Hilaria Rodriguez on March 19, 1936.

Joe married the love of his life, Mary on April 5, 1961 and raised 15 children. He loved having his family around and loved taking trips with any and all of them. They loved gardening and being outside enjoying the sunshine and rain storms together, sitting on the porch on their rocking chairs. He loved going out to eat with his family and could drink coffee any time of day.

He loved going out in the ministry and sharing Bible truths with others. He spent many summer months with his wife and children in the door to door ministry since he enjoyed this so much.

Joe is proceeded in death by his parents, a sister and a granddaughter.

He is survived by his loving wife Mary; eight daughters, Ermelinda Rodriguez, Joy Rodriguez, JoAnn Ferguson, Corina Rodriguez, Jill Rodriguez, Josy Logan, Anna Delores Cantrell and Alicia Rodriguez; seven sons, Joe Rodriguez Jr., Alex  (Alexander) Rodriguez, Larry Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Jeremiah Rodriguez and Joshua Rodriguez; 18 grandchildren and 3 great –grand children.
