John Allen Lowry, 61, died January 11, 2014 in Amarillo.
A private farewell will be held. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
John was born June 4, 1952 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Harry and Betty Lowry. He passed away at hospice after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Lowry, and a brother, Thomas Lowry.
He is survived by his two “children,” his beloved puppies, Peter Pan and June Bug; his parents, L. D. and Betty Jeffcoat; brothers and sisters, Dee, Leslie Joe, James, Les, and Sharon; nieces, Chanda, Leslie, Amiee, Chelsea, and many others; eight great nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins in Wisconsin; as well as an army of friends at Amarillo Truck Center where he worked for many years.
