Kelly Anna Culpepper, 48, of Llano, Texas, died October 9, 2012.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am Saturday, October 20, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo, TX.  Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.

Kelly was born April 8, 1964 in Amarillo, TX, to Ronnie and Sharon (Duncan) Ratliff.   She married Dr. Michael Culpepper on December 18, 1993 in Spring TX, where they lived before moving to Llano in 2004.  Kelly graduated from Amarillo high school.  She attended Amarillo College and West Texas State University in Canyon TX.  She received her Registered Veterinary Technician license and worked for many years in several veterinary clinics in Amarillo and Spring, Texas, before she “retired” to become a stay at home mom.

Kelly loved animals of all kinds and it wasn’t unusual to see several orphaned or injured animals in her house at any given time.  She loved riding horses most of all.  She was particularly passionate about genealogy and also enjoyed scrap-booking, arts and crafts, and spending time with her kids.

She was preceded in death by her father Ronnie, and a brother, Dale J Ratliff of Amarillo TX.

Survivors include her husband Mike Culpepper DVM, and daughters Allison, Sarah and Kadie Culpepper of Llano; mother Sharon (Duncan) Ratliff of Canyon TX.; mother in law and father in law Doyle and Pat Culpepper of Llano; a niece, Michelle Wildman and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Allie, Sarah and Kadie at Llano National Bank, c/o Culpepper Trust, PO Box 190 Llano, TX 78643.
