Lee Roy Sena, age 51 of Amarillo died Saturday, March 2, 2013.
Rosary will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St.
Funeral Mass is Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Laurence Catholic Church with Rev. Ignacio Candelas as celebrant. Burial is at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
Lee Roy was born September 7, 1961 in Amarillo to Juan and Apolonia Sena. He married Rosemary Nuncio and they have been married for over 30 years. Together they raised a wonderful family and Lee Roy worked for many years as a maintenance foreman.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was determined in anything he put his mind to and he was kind hearted. He loved his grandchildren very much. He was a huge fan of the NFL and especially his Dallas Cowboys. Lee Roy will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Johnny Sena; two sisters, Rosemary Armendariz and Ruby Gonzales and a grandson, Lee Roy Jared Sena.
Lee Roy is survived by his loving wife Rosemary; one daughter, Monica Sena and fiancé Michael; three sons, Robby Sena, Lee Roy Sena, Jr. and wife Ashley and John Frank Sena and wife Stephany; two sisters, Dinah Garcia and husband Nick and Angela Pacheco and husband Sammy; one brother, Robert Sena and five grandchildren, Michael, Savanah, Ana Bella, John Jr. and Izick.
The family requests that anyone attending his Mass Celebration please wear your favorite NFL Jersey in Lee Roy’s honor.
