Linda Antonia Alcala'

Linda Antonia Alcala' age 64, of Amarillo, died surrounded by her family on May 16, 2024.
 
 A rosary will be said on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at 6:00 PM at St. Mary's Cathedral, 1200 South Washington.
 
 The funeral mass will be on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 9:00 AM at St. Mary's Cathedral.  Rev. Anthony Neusch will be the celebrant.  Interment will follow at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home.
 
 Linda was born in Amarillo on November 15, 1959, to her parents, Jose Saavedra and Adela Ortiz.  She received her associate's degree and worked as a supervisor for Excel Energy.
 
 Linda was preceded in death by three siblings, Rita Rodarte, Mary Maldonado, and Johnny Rangel, and one granddaughter, Journey Alcala’.
 
 She was survived by her children, Edward Alcala' and his wife Cecilia, Adam Alcala' and his wife Brenda, Christopher Alcala' and his wife Raven, and Matthew Alcala’ and his wife Rebecca;  fifteen grandchildren, Elon Brown, and husband Caden, Ethan Alcala', Zoe Gutierrez, Genesis Gutierrez, Gavin Gutierrez, Ian Alcala' and Noah Alcala', Phillip Adam- Abel Boothby and wife Rebekah, Aiden Alcala', Alyssa Alcala', Sephie Alcala', Ima Alcala', Amery Alcala', Mattie Alcala' and Ryan Alcala' and one great-grandbaby on the way.
