Lisa Vern Biggers

Lisa Vern Biggers, 50, of Amarillo, lost her battle with cirrhosis and passed peacefully on August 31, 2023, with her dear friend Karla by her side.

The family will receive guests at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. All who knew Lisa are welcome to come celebrate and honor her life.

Lisa was born on September 19, 1972 in Amarillo, TX, to Jerry and Barbara (Stringer) Biggers. She was a graduate of River Road High School and attended Amarillo College.

Lisa was a dispatcher by trade, working for A & B Towing and Coastal Transport for many years. She enjoyed crafting, garage sales, and thrift store shopping. Although she had no children of her own, she helped raise many. She was a friend to many and will be deeply missed. Missing you until we meet again.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice Biggers, and brother John Biggers. Those left to cherish her memories are her brother Shawn Biggers, Aunt Margaret Holman, nieces Korrie and Shayla, and nephews Damion, Vincent, and Hayden.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in honor of Lisa should be made to the DT and Joan King Foundation, 2500 S. Coulter, STE 118, Amarillo, TX 79106.
