Lois Bradstreet Drown, age 89 of Amarillo died Friday, April 20, 2012
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, April 24 at 2:00 PM at Bell Avenue Church of Christ with Mr. Glen Walton officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S Arthur.
Lois was born on September 28, 1922 in Shamrock to John and Ruby (Stuart) Bradstreet. She was married in 1942 to Leroy Drown in Phoenix AZ. They moved to Amarillo from Monterrey CA in 1946 where they lived until his death in 1982. She worked in the Amarillo School System as a Cafeteria Manager until her retirement in 1983.
She was preceded in death by Leroy, her husband of 40 years.
Survived by two sons, Kenny Devon Drown of Amarillo and Deon Drown of Austin; grandchildren Derek, Denita, Donnie, Dee and Zachary.
