Loretta was born on April 20, 1954, in Dalhart to Fermin and Rebecca Montano and attended Dalhart High School.   She married Joe in 1994 in Dalhart, and they celebrated over 29 years of marriage.

Loretta was an encourager.  She always told those around her, “If there is a will, there is a way!”  Many times she would pick up the phone and call her family and friends to check on them, many times more than once a day!

She loved music of all types, from religious to rock n roll. She was rather passionate about Bingo as well.  But there was nothing she was more passionate about than her family. She had a smile that would light up the room, and there was nothing she loved more than spending time with family and friends…well, except for dessert! She was a foodie and enjoyed all types, so when she could enjoy both her family and food, she was ecstatic. Loretta celebrated her birthday in Heaven this year, and what a party it must have been.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Linda Tomlin and Sandy Niavez.

Loretta is survived by her husband, Joe; her daughter Tiffany Tracey and her partner Timothy Lemmert; Rosealee Ceniceros and her husband, Eric; her sons, Jason Livesay and Tracy Montez; three brothers, James Montano, Kendall Montano, and Max Montano and his wife Kimber; and three grandchildren, Mariah Hughes and her husband Aaron, Matthew Tracey and Zachary Montez.
