Lori was born on April 9, 1961 in Tecolotito, New Mexico to her parents Jose Verginio and Dora Prescilla Griego Lucero.

She was the epitome of a hard worker, working until the very end of her life.  For over twenty-one years she worked in property management for Delores Vanderbeck and was a devoted employee.

She had an “open-door” policy regarding her heart and her home.  She made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved. Lori didn’t have much to give but she would give everything she had to comfort others and to show them that they were loved and that they mattered.

Lori was an awesome and amazing mother who loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.  In fact her grandchildren were the lights of her life.  She was a God fearing woman who devoted herself to serving her Lord and others.

She is survived by her children, John Anthony Lucero and his wife Priscilla, Bianca Nicole Chavira and her husband Davenald Daniel, John Gabriel Chavira and Jessica Lea Chavira; her grandchildren, Nehemias, Aviana, Juan, Amari, Briana, John, Marina, Zachariah, Cameran, Chase, Alyssa, Katarina, Mazey, Juan, Delia, and Mivella; and her great grandchildren, Janessa, Xandra, Xeena, Julian Jr., Jamzey Ray, Alessandra and Aleera.
