Louis Heredia Rodriguez, 59, died Monday, September 9, 2013 in Amarillo.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 11, in Chapel of Angels at Angel Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12 in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Gomez as celebrant. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
Louis was born November 30, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas to Marcos Rodriguez and Petra Heredia Rodriguez. He worked for the City of Amarillo for 30 years.
He was well-known in the community and was a hard worker. Louis loved the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed playing poker, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a loving, giving man who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Daniel Rodriguez.
Survivors include a daughter, Lydia Mills and husband, William of Frisco; a sister, Teresa Minjarez and husband, Jose of Amarillo; a brother, Armondo Rodriguez of Amarillo; and two grandchildren, Azurie and Bryan Rodriguez.
