She was preceded in death by a sister, Grisel Benitez.
Yanet is survived by her parents, Ruperto & Elisea Benitez, one sister Canasdra Benitez, three brothers, Noel Ruben and Ricardo Benitez; her grandparents, Manual Campuzano and Onofre Serrano, both of Mexico.
