Mario Martin Solis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Mario Martin Solis of Amarillo, Texas, who left us on November 15, 2023, at age 59.

The family will receive guests on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home's Chapel on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dallas Stringer of Lifeway Fellowship presiding. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery.

Mario was born in Stanton, Texas on July 27, 1964, to Simon Solis, Sr. and Fannie Martinez. Mario was a hardcore San Francisco 49ers fan. He was skilled in machinery and could make most anything work. Mario loved his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Ray Joe Solis and Robert Solis Sr., sister Mary Jane Solis, and nephews Joshua Gonzalez, Ray Herrera Jr, and Jason Silva. Those left to cherish his memories are his  Mother- Fannie Cuellar, brothers Simon Solis Jr. from Louisiana, Dario & Linda Solis from Austin, TX, Jessie & Johana Cuellar from Dallas, TX, and  Eric Cuellar from Houston,  Sisters Silvia & Ben Gonzalez from Amarillo and Carolina Martinez from Amarillo, TX;  along with KitKat & Scout and many nieces and nephews.
