Mary F. Parsley Brown, 81, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at her home in Marble Falls, TX.
Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in Llano Cemetery with Sherman Eastland, Chaplain of Odyssey Hospice. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur.
She was born in Brundage, Alabama on May 19, 1932, and married Don Parsley in Amarillo, Texas. She was employed for Ponca-Standard for many years until her retirement. She married Doyle Brown in 1981 and continued to reside in Amarillo. She enjoyed gardening and always had the prettiest lawn on the block. She also enjoyed needlepoint and in her early years, sewing. She moved to Marble Falls, Texas in 2011 and enjoyed the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Parsley in 1973 and Doyle Brown in 1982.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Bevington and husband, Ed of Marble Falls, Tx; a granddaughter, Lindsey Cartwright and husband, Shawn of Austin and their son, Cole, who is expecting his brother any day now; grandson, Camron Bevington and girlfriend, Kelsie Antwine of Amarillo. She had two of the best caregivers Ronda and Linda, who she loved very much.
