Mary Ines Davis, 75, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, with her family by her side.
Mrs. Davis was born January 21, 1936, in Cuyler, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Amarillo, retiring from AAA Auto Club after 23 years of services.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1518 East Central Amarillo. Mrs. Davis was an active member of the Pleasant Valley congregation.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Dave; two daughters, Rita Nolan and husband Louis of Rio Rancho, NM, and Cindy Armstrong and husband, Bruce of Amarillo; one brother, Frank Garcia of Panhandle; five granddaughters, Kristi Escoto of Arlington, TX, Mandy Soto and husband John Paul, Michelle Frazier and husband Shawn, Lindsey Davis and husband Cody, and Gentri Gullick and husband Todd, all of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren, Jake, Madison, and Maci.
Mary was a beautiful and loving person who enjoyed being around people. She will be truly missed by her family, friends and all acquaintances.
The family wishes to express their tremendous gratitude to the staff at Ware Living Center and Jan Werner Adult Day Care for their unending compassion and care extended to Mary and the entire family.
